Description of research

My research focuses on three main areas:

  • Modeling and simulation of dynamic socio-ecological systems (also called coupled human-nature systems) at the individual level;
  • Characterization and modeling of decision-making in the context of interactions between human activities and ecosystems;
  • Participatory management process support through the co-development of consultation support systems (eg serious games) and decision support systems (eg multi-agent models);

I am also interested in using artificial intelligence to extract information on biological and natural systems to improve management or conservation.
