Founded in 2012, ISFORT is a research institute attached to the Université du Québec en Outaouais whose activities are dedicated to the study of the temperate deciduous forest.
Local as well as international, theoretical as well as applied, research at ISFORT is entirely in line with an ethic of sustainable development of all forest resources in order to be ecologically sound, socially acceptable and economically viable.
