The Department of Natural Sciences (DSN) was created in April 2012 offering a number of graduate programs at UQO including a Professional Master’s degree, a Master’s with Thesis, and Doctorates. A brand new Bachelor’s degree, not offered elsewhere in Quebec, was added to the calendar in the fall of 2018. The 13 professors currently in the Department, who are also members of ISFORT, form a dynamic group with varied expertise in plant and animal, aquatic and evolutionary ecology, as well as in ecological economics and socio-ecology. Our instructors are all dedicated to enriching the student experience in the courses offered by the Department, supported by staff who share the same vision.
